BOŠÁCKE KOPANICE
Typical sign of needlework in Bošacké Kopanice surroundings was ornament made of style floral motives. Mostly by tulips, hearts and four-leaf clover, needlework of golden and silver yarn. Colour combination black-red or golden-silver used to be placed on female gauntlets. “Parta” on painting origins from Bošacké Kopanice. Used to be worn til 1930s. Composed of headband made of hard cardboard, joined by black velvet and decorated colourfull thin needleworked stripes and metalic spangles. Headband was also added by glass beads, wax and cloth flowers. In back was tied lots of stripes of various wide and were tied into a big ribbon. On wedding day was added also a green wreath which symbolized a virginity.
