KŠINNÁ
“Parta” in Kšinná village used to be worn since early 20. century till 1980s. Flower decoration was made of stripes and various colour cloth. Added by sewn up beads. On frontal side were two dominating identical flowers made of stripes. On sides were also hanging two stripes of white colour ranging from top to loins. Back part was composed of blue and pink stripes. “Parta” was worn only in church and on wedding day. Original of this 72 year old “parta” is placed in museom of Uhrovec. Authors wanted to highlight sacred atmosphere during the wedding ceremony through model´s stand, which has eyes folded down for pray for good husband a longstanding marriage.
