Model’s face is decorated with soft white flowers. Depicted circle is symbol of neveren- ding love same as wedding rings. Black colour partly as historical reference to early tra- dition in which are brides wearing only black dress on the wedding day which survived till late 60. of last century when they slowly switched on white dress. 
„Parta“ in Báčsky Petrovec used to be worn only on wedding day but right after a cake ceremony was “torn down”. Base of „Parta“ is composed of wheel and wreath. Made of white cloth, tiny roses and lily of the valley which were wrapped around small wire. Part of wreath were slightly bigger roses and other tiny flowers, green leaves, pearls and “zlatko” golden wheel made of red floral ribbons stacked one on another with tiny gaps which were hanging down to cover bride’s hair. „Parta“ used to be made by lady called “Maďarka” (mean hungarian fem.). There are still more than 10 remaining pieces of various dating in village.
