Youngest documented “parta” of this project came from village of Krakovany. Made on older version in 2017 by Mrs. Piscová. Basic material was cloth, decoration composed of sewed on stripes, glass pearls, spangles, tiny mirrors and stripes of white and yellow colour. Material in old days used to be bought jewish shops or on markets. Last bride in parta was Mrs. Zemanová in 1955. Circle on model´s face has its origins in traditional needlework which used to represent repose and integrity. Used to be a symbol for eternity and perfection and patience of bride to her husband. Authors wanted to put attention on krakovian spike laces, which serves as backround of painting.
